Happy Thanksgiving and a walk in our winter wonderland,

Six am and the snow was coming down in the background you can see the ducks by the boat.The woodpile is were my boys have a bonfire when they are fishing in there adirondack chairs.

Pine Knob mountain.

Pine tree,thought this would make a great puzzle and would be a really hard one.

The wind in this bend scares me in the ice and snow.Its a long drop down,

Our road leading to a main road.When its like this the bus won't come down.To walk to the bus stop it a 45 min to an hour walk.So if its too icy for the truck then we stay home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUTCHESS & DUKE. B-DAY PARTY YOU ARE INVITED!!

FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY 2 LITTLE GREAT DANE PUPPIES WERE BORN.DUTCHESS IN THE BACK. DUKE IN THE FRONT.8 WEEKS LATER WE ADOPTED THEM.ORIGANLLY WE WENT ONLY TO GET THE LITTLE MALE PUPPY .THE LITTLE FEMALE WITH THE STAR ON HER CHEST HAD OTHER THINGS IN MIND, SHE FOLLOWED ME AROUND FROM THE TIME WE ARRIVED THERE AND I JUST COULD NOT LEAVE WITHOUT HER.SOMEHOW SHE KNEW SHE NEEDED ME AND I KNEW I NEEDED HER.SO THAT COLD SNOWING NIGHT WE ENDED UP LEAVING WITH 2 GREAT DANE PUPS.WHOM WE NAMED DUKE AND DUTCHESS.TODAY THEY TURNED 5 YEARS OLD. DUKE ON THE LEFT ,DUTCHESS ON THE RIGHT.

AT 6 MONTHS OF AGE DUTCHESS GOT VERY SICK.THE VET SAID THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE HE COULD DO FOR HER. SHE WOULD NEVER MAKE IT TO HER FIRST BIRTHDAY!I WOULD NOT GIVE UP ON HER AND TOOK HER TO A SPECIAL VET IN ANOTHER COUNTY.

SO WITH ALOT OF COMPUTER RESEARCH AND HELP FROM OTHER GREAT DANE OWNERS OVER THE INTERNET THROUGH OUT THE COUNTRY,WE FINALLY GOT SOME ANSWERS AND A CURE FOR DUTCHESS.

HERE IS DUTCHESS WITH HER BIRTHDAY BURGER.NOTICE HER SCOOBY DOO PINK SCARF?BELOW IS DUKE IN HIS SCOOBY DOO BLUE SCARF.THEY HAD SCOOBY DOO PARTY HATS AND PARTY DECOR.I BAKED THEM A VAN CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE ICING.

HERE IS MY VERY SPOILED DUTCHESS!HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD!!THIS DOG HOLDS MY HEART IN HER PAWS AND SHE KNOWS IT!

DUKE TURNED OUT TO BE SUCH A HUGE BOY AND HE IS SUCH A LOVABLE GUY!HE LOVES MY BOYS AND SUPER PROTECTIVE OF THEM!

HAPPY 5 TH BIRTHDAY DUTCHESS AND DUKE.WE LOVE YOU MORE THEN YOU'LL EVER KNOW!!MAY THERE BE MAMNY MANY MORE!!!

New pics of Cinderella.

Here are some pics of Cinderella.She found a shipping box full of shredded paper.This box of paper is now HERS! Its a wonderful baby sitter to her.I can work on the computer now without her pouncing on the keyboard.I can paint, cook, etc... when shes done we put it in the laundry basket.Then she climbs back in and plays then falls to sleep.She found this all on her own too!LOL This pic I woke her taking her pic. Here she is sound to sleep from playing.

My Pink Wonderland cake.

Vintage house ontop that I painted pink.Glitter covered trees and deer.Vintage button and lace.

See the sparkle on the top of the cake looks like a fresh coat of snow.

This one I call My Pink Winter Rose Cake.

Embellished with Pale pink roses snow covered evergreen.The tips of the roses are covered in glitter.This just glistens under the tree lights.

Heart Lace doily included.

Candy Cane,Mitten and heart Ornaments.Made to look just like iceing on a sugar cookie.These are a big seller this year I have added the millianary roses.They look so sweet.
